Private Frank Mohran

 

The family background of this man is not known at present.

Frank Mohran enlisted in the cavalry at Dublin on 14 October 1918. He was described as being 5' 8" tall, with a fresh complexion, brown hair and brown eyes, and with scars on his right eyebrow and left wrist. He stated that he was 21 years old, was born in Manchester, and that he worked as a motor driver.

Mohran was posted to the North Irish Horse (Corps of Hussars No.72205). He was reported to have deserted from the regiment's reserve base at Antrim on 2 November 1918. It is not known if he was subsequentially apprehended.
